Most email providers cap attachments around 20-25 MB. A phone-scanned 10-page document can easily exceed that. Before splitting the file or hunting for a transfer service, try shrinking it - often a 70% reduction is possible with no visible difference.
Shrinking a PDF
Open Compress PDF and upload the file
Try "Recommended" first; use "Strong" only if it is still too big
Check the reported savings - if it barely shrank, the file was already optimized
If still over the limit, send only the needed pages via Extract PDF Pages
Shrinking images
Resize first - a 4000px photo for a 1200px need is wasted megabytes
Convert PNG photos to JPG or WEBP
Then compress with Compress Image as a final pass
When compression is not enough
For truly huge files - video, full-resolution photo sets - upload to a cloud drive and share a link instead. Email was never designed for that payload, and compression cannot fix it.
