Convert your PNG images to JPG format in seconds.
PNG files are lossless and support transparency - which is exactly why photos saved as PNG are needlessly large. This tool converts PNG to JPG, flattening any transparent areas onto a white background and typically shrinking the file dramatically. Ideal when a form or site rejects PNG, or when you need a smaller file.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent regions are composited onto white. If you need transparency preserved, keep PNG or convert to WEBP instead.
How much smaller is the JPG?
On photos, often a fraction of the PNG size. On flat graphics the saving is smaller but still worthwhile for upload limits.
Is there a quality loss?
JPG is lossy, but at the quality used the difference is invisible at normal viewing size. Keep the PNG if you will edit the image repeatedly.
